The US Supreme Court has rejected the Philadelphia DA's appeal of the appeals court rulings overturning Mumia's death sentence!

The NAACP Legal Defense Fund, involved in Mumia's appeal, has announced that the US Supreme Court has rejected the Philadelphia DA's appeal of the appeals court ruling that Mumia's death sentence was unconstitutionally imposed. This means that the US Supreme Court has upheld the ruling that the death sentence for Mumia is unconstitutional. This would result in an automatic life sentence unless the state chooses to bring the case back to court for a new penalty phase.
