Earlier this year, Van Jones, the former Obama administration’s special adviser for Green Jobs who resigned after right-wing groups attacked his past affiliations and character, launched a new project called Rebuild the American Dream campaign. The campaign’s goal is to steer the nation away the tea party-driven austerity, tax-cut political agenda in Washington, and focus instead on strengthening working families by creating good jobs and making sure that all Americans pay their fair share of taxes.
