Alejandra Hernandez, another domestic violence victim, dead as a result of Lamorequx's injustice

In Orange County, the unwillingness of the Lamoreaux Justice System and Tony Rackauckas to actually help domestic violence victims led to the death of Alejandra Hernandez, another victim of a failed sytem.

Like other deceased or dying victims of domestic violence in Oranee County, she had a restraining order.

Orange County domestic violence victims claim that a restraining order is the first step in allowing a batterer to murder his victim.

In Orange County perpetrators get rich off domestic violence. Restraining orders allow batterers to refuse to pay their bills or support. The victims get stuck with the bills. Wife beaters suddently become debt free with no obligations. Support and other laws are rarely enforced in Orange County. The judges there consider the Family Law Code to be a worthless set of book, ready for burning. Lamoreaux has the reputation of being the most pro batterer court system in the United States.

A typical case, Alejandra and her alleged perpetrator were married. Judges in Orange Couny, particulafly, James Waltz, allow perpetrators to cut the health insurance of their victims as they lay in the hosptial in critical condition from the abuse. Tony Rackauckus won’t prosecute in most cases. Victims die with no justice. In Alejandra’s case, she didn’t die fast enough and her perpetrator theoretically had to finish the job himself.

Will Alejandra’s death change the system? Probably not. Lamoreaux judges don’t want to take the time to read the documents in the files they are judging. It is too time consuming. They simply know that if they let the batterer win, they can go home and play golf as the Orange County death rate rises.
