Lintang Bidol Expose— A game of "smoke and mirrors."

Los Angeles---The Bantay Pilipinas-LA view the revelations and the surfacing of COMELEC Maguindanao Chief Lintang Bidol on the presidential elections of 2004 and the Senatorial elections of 2007 as another game old game of smoke and mirrors.

Bantay -USA leader Austin Baul said; “there is nothing new and everybody knows what Lintang Bidol is saying. What is wrong with his revelations is very glaring.

There are no evidences or proofs and as the COMELEC Chair said, it is focused on the 2007 elections.”

“ It seems it is riding on the revelations of former ARMM Governor Zaldy Ampatuan’s revelations on Arroyo. It seems there is a game of smoke and mirrors going on to regale the public on sideshows and forget about the sad state of the nation.

More Important issues

While the Filipino people are reeling from oil crisis and high prices, cuts on education and crisis on public housing that the Aquino III government refused to remedy, we are treated with the games at the circus and showbiz.

While the Philippines is still ridden with more than $ 58 billion dollar debt, the US_Aquino government is riding the coat-tails of US Imperialism and is doing its yeoman’s job as anti-China scarecrow.

This is detrimental to the Philippines and China relations and is turning the Spratly Islands as a military flashpoint.” Baul Added.

******

“ We remind the Aquino government to seriously focus its attention to the people’s interests such as solving the housing problem of more than 90,000 households in Quezon City and the more than 20 million urban poor in the urban areas of the Philippines.” Baul ended.
