The stimulus program passed by the Obama administration never got much love. I agree with some criticisms of it, but the idea that it was too BIG definitely isn't one of them. Right about now, when states no longer have stimulus money to fall back on and many statehouses are cutting to the bone, there's no better time to speak out in defense of the good that government spending can do to combat economic crisis.
