Four and a half minutes in to this excellent summary documentary covering the foundations of the Wikileaks volunteer organization we find the core motivation: The notoriously criminal Scientology Corporation's criminal activities and denial of basic human rights and civil rights.

Notorious Scientology crime boss Helena Kobrin and her fellow Scientology gangsters attempted to silence the truth about the sinister corporation's quack medical and fake drug treatment frauds, and in doing to launched the Wikileaks phenomena.

After the Scientology murder of Lisa McPherson in 1995, a dedicated response to the criminal enterprise's racketeering and RICO Predicate Acts against human rights advocates was called for, and the culmination of citizen-driven advocacy for Democracy and freedom was Wikileaks, the volunteer organization that the world's citizens are overwhelmingly supporting, applauding, and demonstrating in favor of world-wide.

I had a terrible time growing up back in Massachusetts. I was made fun of in school. I beat up my girlfriend regularly. My grades were low. I was a complete loser. And then I discovered Scientology.

Scientology helped me clear myself of negative forces working upon me. I learned to respect myself more and this led to respecting others too. Scientology helped me to turn my life around.

It saddens me to see these stories smearing Scientology.

I believe the author of this article, while I thank him for the link to the film, has mischaracterized the relationship between scientology and Wikileaks. If you watch the film, it does say that scientology documents were one of the first leaks and that Assange was harassed and threatened by their agents/lawyers afterwards. But to say that this organization's driving force is some sort of revenge against the abuses of scientology is a gross overstatement at best, and at worst an outright falsehood.
