Seniors worry they will lose all as John Williams forms an alliance with violent abusers

When John Williams, the Orange County Public Guardian, has a budget shortfall who does he call? He calls in violence domestic abusers who help him gain control of their victims’ estate. In a civilized county, this practice would be considered reprehensible. In Orange County, the District Attorney’s fiancé is second in command at the Public Guardian’s office. The Public Guardian, being also the Public Administrator, is in charge of jury selection. So he gets away assisting violent abusers wreck more havoc in the lives of their victims.

Abuse victims are already reeling from having their lives turned upside down. Williams finds them at their most vulnerable time and uses their distress to make a profit while putting the finishing touches in the destruction of the innocent. Legally, this makes Williams an accessory after the fact to the abuse.

Elderly victims of John Williams have called for Jerry Brown’s office to investigate. Police officers from up and down the state and the employees union that represents county workers have called for such an investigation. Now that Brown has finished running for higher office, Orange County seniors think it’s time for him to attend to his current job with by launching that investigation now, rather than passing the buck to his successor.
