Α real-time record of the IMF-era of Greece

On April 23rd 2010, the greek prime minister officially requested an economic relief package from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to help the country avoid defaulting on its debt. At the same time he pushed the button, an idea came to my mind. To set up this blog - a blog that will cover in real time the story as it unfolds.

Starting from that day, the IMF-life of Greece just begun and with it, also begun the greek life of the IMF. "Greek life" - the term used to describe the lifes of college students who belong to fraternities or sororities. The initials IMF in greek are translated to ΔΝΤ (or Delta Nu Tau). That's how the name of this blog came up: Delta Nu Tau, the "fraternity" that will have to deal with the greek people, living their "greek life" with the experts.

On this blog you will find texts of the administrators, texts of other people that we thought of as interesting, pictures, interviews and polls. But this is something we could do without publishing it on the internet and wasting valuable (free) internet space. So, our final goal is the contribution of people with comments, ideas and, why not, cooperations.

It is often said that history is written by the winners. Here we will be writing it, as the ones who have already been declared as the losers even before this war ends.

PS.: We apologise for any possible mistakes in the english versions of the texts. We would appreciate it if you would help us correct a few.
