While claiming to support an end to violence in foreign lands, peace groups are helping to enable domestic abusers to kill their victims
To the surprise of liberal women, local organizations like Orange County's Military Families Speak Out and the Orange County Peace Coalition and national organizations, such as Democrats.com and the US Democrat Network have placed domestic abusers in charge of major functions and allowed them to use those organizations to further abuse the women in their lives.
Democrats.com, an organization founded by Bob Fertik and David Lytel and based on the principles of moving the Democratic Party back to the people, has undercut women by placing the moderation of their organization in the hands of an extremely violent domestic abuser. The abuser has been allowed to use emailing lists to rip apart his victim while removing her posting/response privileges. Machal Fagan of the US Democrat has personally placed a wife beater in charge of his group functions allowing the batterer to use the US Democrat yahoogroups to isolate his victim, a former moderator who lost her moderator privileges after she blew the whistle on the abuse, which almost took her life.
Military Families Speak Out and the Orange County Peace Coalition believe there is a distinction between killing women in America and killing them elsewhere It is their policy that killing women elsewhere is a terrible injustice while killing women in the United States is acceptable if the assailant is not an otherwise bad person. As with the other two mentioned organizations, MFSO and the OCPC turned over much of their communications structure to a guy with a history of extreme violence.
According to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, approximately 1.3 million women are victims of domestic violence in the United States each year. The cost of domestic violence to the American people is in excess of 5.8 billion dollars annually.
So while these organizations rail against the killing elsewhere, they have no problem with killing in this country. While they rail against the costs of international war, they contribute to creating the billions of dollars in domestic violence costs to the American people.
