CA Insurance Commissioner Candidate Dina Padilla To Join Injured Downey Movie and Kaiser Workers Filing Workers Comp Fraud And Environmental Crimes Complaints At LA DA

Injured Downy movie studio workers and Kaiser workers will be filing charges with the Los Angeles District Attorney for worker compensation fraud and environmental crimes at the Downey toxic dump site that was formerly
a military/industrial complex of NASA, North American Aviation and the US army. IRG private developer Stuart Lichter promised to properly clean the site up when it privatized as a "brownfield" site.
The clean-up and remediation was not done properly and movie workers and Kaiser Downey workers have been contaminated as a result of the health and safety cover-up. These workers have been fighting for workers compensation and for their health as a result of the failure to clean up the highly toxic dump site. Injured Downey Kaiser hospital worker Gail Shephard's daughter also died with toxins in her body that were probably received at the site.
Joining the workers will be Dina Padilla, Peace and Freedom Party candidate for California Insurance Commissioner to support their efforts to prosecute workers comp fraud and environmental violations by Downey
toxic site developer Stuart Lichter. Padilla was sued by Stuart Lichter in a SLAPP suit to silence her and others and the suit was lost when Stuart Lichter refused to be deposed about his role in the toxic dumpsite. The
suit was thrown out of court with prejudice by the judge.
