ONE DAY THAT WILL LI...
hiroshima.jpg, image/jpeg, 259x195

On August 06, 1945, without need and in a cowardly way, the Americans throw to 1st atomic bomb, in Hiroshima, killing 120 thousand innocent civilians (300 thousand if the effects of the radiation be considered). This incommensurable war crime, the largest war crime already committed, it still was not judged.

one thing that will never be forgotten is what an asshole this 'lord' is with its mass murder fetish.
Unless we are talking about one of this 'lord's' chosen people.

Lest we forget...
superfort.jpgir2ov1.jpg, image/jpeg, 675x246

One thing that 'not to worry' needs to know is that 'mass murder' had been standing operating proceedure for the Japanese Imperial Army for nearlya decate in China before the US ever entered WW2...and that Japan had purchased a cyclotron from U Cal Berkely in 1938 to begin working on its own nuclear weapons program to build an atomic bomb it termed the 'genzai bakudan'.,..by 1944 it had a working reactor on the Korean peninsula at Konan and was being regularly supplied with enriched uranium oxide from Germany by submarine....had the Allies waited to invade the Japanese home islands in late '45 and early '46 instead of bombing Hiroshima and Nagasaki,,that would have given Japan enough time to perfect the 'genzai bakudan' and its mass murder would have continued unabated at the cost of untold American lives....Truman prevented that with the decision to use "Little Boy" and "Fat Man" and brought the Japanese mass murder spree to a halt..literally overnight....it goes without saying that Hiroshima was the home port for the Japanese fleet that attacked Pearl Harbor.

and this 'lord' asshole wont tell you that Japan was attempting to surrender during these tests of fission weapons, one of which, over Nagasaki also burned 20,000 American prisoners into ash.

Uh,not quite....

At least 11 and perhaps 23 or more American prisoners of war were killed by the Hiroshima A-Bomb (Barton Bernstein, Unraveling a Mystery: American POWs Killed at Hiroshima, Foreign Service Journal, Oct. 1979; Robert Manoff, American Victims of Hiroshima, New York Times Magazine, 12/2/84, pg. 67+). The Nagasaki A-Bomb killed more than a dozen Dutch POWs and possibly some Americans who may have been in a Nagasaki POW camp (Philip Nobile, ed., Judgment at the Smithsonian, pg. 207; Barton Bernstein, ed., The Atomic Bomb, pg. 116)...nowhwere near the "20,000" invented 'status confirmed'...in any case,Japan had places Allied POW's in a number of what they thought were strategic locations in the mistaken belief that by doing so it would give those locations immunity from bombing by the B-29's of the 20th Air Force....besides that.....

# Even after both Hiroshima and Nagasaki were hit with atomic bombs, the Japanese government took a vote and still refused to surrender.

# Japan only agreed to surrender when their Emperor told them to do so.

# The Emperor wanted peace, but was considered a God and, thus, was supposed to stay above politics. He intervened at the request of the Japanese leaders who wanted peace when it was clear the war cabinet did not

# Japanese peace advocates played the Emperor card when they saw they had run out of time to save their Emperor.

Bottom line....using "Little Boy" and "Fat Man" prevented well over 500,000 Allied casualties and several million Japanese civilian deaths...which 'status confirmed' seems willing to have consigned to the graveyard so that he can pretend he is morally superior to those who saw the immediate imperative as being to end the killing as quickly and as efficiently as possible...and that is what happend.....end of story

quibbling asshole

by to 'lord' asshole Friday, Aug. 13, 2010 at 4:01 AM

"and possibly some Americans who may have been in a Nagasaki POW camp"
but not the 20,000 American POWs that were located at Nagasaki...(inconvenient facts )?
Japan was starving, in total collapse and were digging up their pine forests to render the fuel to power their skeleton air force.
Invasion was not even being seriously considered because their was no longer any threat to the shipping lanes, occupied territory etc. the political frenzy to demonstrate the new weapon took priority over strategic concerns because the new nuclear industry saw Trillions in future profits.
And to show the Soviet Union our developed technology so there would be a new and profitable arms race.

It's not 'quibbling'.....

....when I site my sources for casualty figures and you make yours up out of whole cloth with no sourcing at all....the Japanese had several thousand kamikazes stashed in mountain tunnels...some jet powered...and some rocket planes....in anticipation of the invasion of the home island...and were even arming civilians with pitchforks and such for a fight to the death defense...and still the Japanese war cabinet refused to surrender....my own father was with a US Navy occupation team on Okinawa helping to plan Operation Olympic scheduled for the following November and none of his team expected to survive the coming invasion...the Japanese stil had nearly 5 million men under arms and the government was prepared to sacrifice them all rather than violate the Bushido code of 'death before dishonor'....they even tried to stage a coup at the Imperial Palace to try and prevent the Mikado from going on the radio and calling for surrender...and all you can do in response to my assertions is say 'yea whatever' and call me 'asshole'...so I suggest you take your infantile attempts at revisionism batk to the 8th grade..I'm sure you can bullshit your way around there and project a pretense of moral superiority...but here, all your, casual dismissals of documented facts with a 'yea, sure' really isn't an argument...it's just noise...we stopped the killing with "Little Boy" and :"Fat Man"...without them,it would have gone on indefinitely....and that puts you on the wrong side of the moral equation..and on the wrong side of history

Timmeh was never threatened....he claimed that then he called me a Nazi, said I belonged to Stormfront, and that I wore swastikas on my clothing...so demanded satisfaction for an obvious libel and defamantion..it's a matter of honor....I asked that he put on the gloves and climb into the ring with me and we would settle it according to Marquess of Queesnbury rules...like 2 English gentlemen...to which he replied by stating the obvious..that he is no gentleman...well DUH...anyway I'v got all the emails to prove it...so does Timmeh have any honor?...or is he free to slander and libel at will with impunity Timmeh!!!
