Orange County family law judge rewards batterer as victim is left to die
Last week, OC Family Law Judge James J. Walsh allowed a batterer to terminate the health insurance of his victim. The victim had a deadly condition that required medical care. Not letting compassion get in his way, Walsh gave the batterer the right to cut the necessary medical care with a stroke of a pen. The batterer was also given full control of the community funds.
The violent abuser left the courthouse laughing. The battered woman appeared weak and saddened. Friends had to assist her at times as she walked to her deadly fate.
