Brazilians want more journalism and less Israeli propaganda.
The covering done today (31/05) for the Jornal Nacional (Globo TV) of the attack to the humanitarian convoy was clearly for-Israeli. The journalists gave an immoderate and almost laudatory emphasis to the government's of Israel official version.
The matter admitted that the boats were approached for military out of the Israeli territorial waters but it didn't extract of this fact the necessary consequence.
In agreement with the International Law any member of UN (this is the case of Israel) it can only use the military force in a legitimate way in two hypotheses:
1 - to defend from an attack to his territory;
2 - by expressed authorization of the Safety Council of UN;
The Israeli soldiers invaded the ships out of the territorial waters of Israel and the country didn't have authorization of the Safety Council of UN to use the rude force. Therefore, the Israeli invasion was illegal. The people's reaction that they were in the ship was previsible and it can be considered legitimate, because they were being victims of an unjust military aggression. Therefore, nor the crew members' of the boats reaction would justify the use of the force.
Israel didn't respect the International Law and it acted as a true outlaw State. In reason of the international jurisprudence, the Israelis should be treated with rigidity: diplomatic isolation, economical sanctions and occupation for troops of UN. However, if it depends on the pupils of the There Kamel Israel will continue to be treated as a "more equal State".
The irritating insistence of the Globo TV of publishing stockings truths, of distorting the facts and of ignoring the International Law to justify the abuses and brutalities committed by Israel gives what to think. What should the Brazilian citizens make to force to Globo TV to produce less Israeli propaganda and more journalism? Done to support the repeal of the concession attribute to Globo TV that makes possible the company to explore a public band of television sign?
