Los Angeles—Its all systems go for the MayFlower Festival on May 15 in LA.
The MayFlower Festival , a Neighborhood fiesta and inter-faith parade will be held on Saturday May 15, 2010 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Church of the Nazarene, 3401 West 3rd St near Vermont Ave. Los Angeles.
We call on all organizations and individuals to participate in the festival and parade that will feature the cultures of the Philippines. Those who are interested to join the parade can register and come as parade participants. They must be dressed in Filipiniana or any Filipino or Filipiniana customes.

The program and the parade will feature the cultures of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao in addition to other multicultural cultures of Los Angeles.
The MayFlower Parade
The parade will start at 10:00 AM the parking lot of the First Nazarene Church after the program. The route will be from Juanita St. will go right on 3rd and pass the by Vermont Avenue to Second Street. It will go from Beverly to Commonwealth Ave to 3rd St and back to the parking lot.
The MayFlower Festival Committee are composed of the Walk by Faith Church of the Nazarene. Justice for Filipino American veterans (JFAV),Association of Widows, Relatives and Advocates for Equality (AWARE), Office of Council Eric Garcetti, Historic Filipinotown Improvement Association (HFIA), Silver Lake Medical Center (SLMC), Danza Azteca Cuahatemoc, KmB/Pro People Youth, SilverLake Adult Health Day Care (SLAHDC) and Echo Park Community Coalition (EPCC).
The MayFlower Parade is is endorsed by SIPA, RVNC, Filipino Christian Church (FCC), Pilipino Workers Center (PWC), HFT Chamber of Commerce. Hi-Fi NC, Rotary Club of HFT,PANA,LAPD Rampart Station and many others.
