Former prisoners, their families and a diverse group of supporters traveled Saturday, April 24, 2010, to Manzanar, California, the site of the prison camp that held 11,070 Japanese Americans during WWII.
Around five hundred people participated in the annual pilgrimage including members of Japanese American and Muslim organizations from the Sacramento area, multiple bus loads of people from L.A., local high school and college students from around the state.
