US-Arroyo Regime practices brinkmanship, Provokes public outrage.

Los Angeles- “ The US-Arroyo regime continues its game of brinkmanship. It continues to anger and provoke the public outrage.”

The Alliance-Philippines (AJLPP) adds it strong voice to the vehement protest of the Filipino people over the clearance given by the Secretary of justice Alberto Agra to the Ampatuans and condems the US-Arroyo dangerous game of brinkmanship.

Agra on Friday issued a resolution clearing Governor Zaldy Ampatuan of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao and his cousin, former acting Maguindanao vice governor Akmad Ampatuan Sr. of their complicity in the Nov. 23 massacre case.

Failure of elections?

The Alliance also expressed deep concern over the gloom that has been cast over the May national elections. Rumors of the US intervention is aggravated by suppose consultations between different military factions and plots to effect the failure of elections.

The president’s complicity is compounded by her inaction to deploy 8,000 PCOS machines in case of machine breakdown as evidenced by the Hongkong OFW election fiasco. Additional the DND’s Gonzales machinations is not helping either to ally the fears of the “GMA takeover scenarios.”

Added to the fire is the recent Agra clearance of the Ampatuans that many views as a prelude to freeing the Ampatuans and using them for the elections in Central Mindanao.

It is but proper for the relatives of the victims of the Maguindanao massacre to be wary of the DOJ Secretary’s order. It is the height of injustice and power play on the laws of the land. They maybe right that justice cannot be attained under the unjust Arroyo regime.
