Irvine predicts 8000 dead

City of Irvine in California has decided to make a memorial to the ongoing perpetual wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen. The memorial, costing the city $100K, will have space for 8,000 dead.

No one will say they came up with the number 8000.
