Do what I say not what I do!

Sourceforge, larger library of development of projects of 'free software' computer programs that don't demand license and they are of unrestricted use shocked the computer science means of the whole world when blocking the users' of the web access in agreement with the blacklists sent by the American government.

They are thousands of people and companies, of several parts of the world and simply all of the resident users in Cuba, in Syria, Iran, North Korea and in Sudan.

The detail is that Souceforge not even it is proprietor of the developed softwares or in development there, whose theoretical copyrights belong to people that, they simply use the website as host or place to perfect and to change information on the development of the software that they create. Important programs, because they are of free use. Who already needed to buy a program of legalized computer knows that the prices are extortionate.

In other words, on the pretext of to accomplish the American seizure to these countries, people and entities, does the website treat the property of third as if it was yours - and American product? and it impedes the access to it. In the official report that they posted in the website they seem embarrassed and they recognize the damages that can cause the people, but they say that they cannot act in another way, for the risk of they be closed or, until, they have their arrested responsible.

After the official report, the website registers hundreds of their own registered users' protests of all the parts of the world, besides the one of a Brazilian:

"For us, in Latin America, Souceforge.net was always an essential service for his stability and easy access. Most of the Latin-American nets crosses the United States first, like this the connections are always easier with you.

But that change of politics is as much a very harmful movement as do to notice us that cannot trust more in you, because you don't share the beginnings of the open code and free software. It is very sad to see very competent technicians being put of knees by political interests of the which nor they participate."

Where is the morals of the United States for to speak in censorship to the internet in Iran or in China, after that?
