Conditioned Acceptance to Deceit
We are becoming, as a culture, conditioned to continue to accept a growing tide of lies from our political leaders through the degradation of the very language that is used as a vehicle to create a world of psychotic dis cognizance where meanings are habitually turned into their opposite.
Like the word terrific used to mean terror and wreckage, it now is a common complementary term.
We can, however see the natural evolution of this word over a period of hundreds of years as it began to relate to a momentous event, then progressing to mean of incredible spectacle or wonder.
Words like liberals, socialists and radical have been turned into a preposterous 'fits all' far from their original meaning; from their assault by curiously choreographed commercial media outlets over a matter of decades. These are only surface anomalies that point to a deeper conditioning the entire western culture is bathed in from the time we begin to use the language we require to be human. It controls our very neurological morphology, as we grow the organic circuitry to accommodate the data we adapt to. Studies have proven that neural pathways develop as new tasks are learned and this means that contradictory data creates adaptive pathways.
To accept a world where everything has a double meaning, terrifyingly similar to the newspeak of Orwell's 1984.
A modern land of babble where nothing is believed or doubted because the very language and understanding needed to analyze the intrinsic environment is inverted and accepted deceit becomes the cultural norm.
Under such conditions, questioning or addressing abuse of power becomes impossible when the language is transformed into cynical noise that allows any lie to exist as truth.
