The "open economy" of the richest is closed.

Brazil is the seventh more affected country for protectionism in the international trade, it reveals Global Trade Alert (GTA), a group that monitors the barriers in the global changes. China, larger world exporter of goods, is the country more reached, with 337 measures, following for the European Union (UE), with 276, by the USA, with 213, Japan, with 173, South Korea, with 154, and Thailand, with 142. Soon afterwards, Brazil comes, prejudiced for 136 measures against imports adopted by the partners.

The conclusion is evident: the richest are the more protectionists. Then in I ask my buttons: are these countries richer exactly because they are more protectionists?

In spite of being the seventh country more protectionist Brazil it has only 10º larger GDP. When it is treated of per capita GDP the position of Brazil is ridiculous: my country has 54º larger per capita GDP.

To a intermediate country (a delicate form of saying poor country) Brazil until that it has a very open economy. I think we should do as the rich ones, to be more protectionists.
