In June of 2009 the Another World Is Possible podcast came into existence with just three short audio recordings: an essay written by Lucy Parsons, a letter from a political prisoner in Texas, and a Crimethinc article. The free audio podcast that iss advertised on Boston Indymedia, the BAAM Newsletters, the BAAM website, and on iTunes began its humble life on a small podcast blog with a limit of 100 megabytes of space (http://anotherworldispossible.podbean.com) and sprouted quickly. One by one volunteers came forward to record essays, articles, letters, and even entire books that have been uploaded to a podcast feed (an RSS feed) to be downloaded, listened to via audio stream, subscribed to thru iTunes, listed on the iTunes podcast library and posted on our blog, that literally thousands of people around the US and abroad subscribe and listen to every month...

Now, just six months later, we have outgrown our old feed and with it, outgrown the old website and have been working for the past month on making a new site and new podcast feed that will work better for the 2000+ monthly subscribers who listen to the "Another World Is Possible" podcast on a regular basis!

Near the top of the new site, there is an orange button next to the word "subscribe" that old and new visitors and listeners will have to click in order to join the new podcast feed subscription. We will NOT be publishing new content on the old podcast feed or site. As always you can choose to download the files individually or listen to them via an embedded audio player if you'd prefer not to be updated by iTunes or your social networking site when we post new content.

We have begun discussions about doing some video projects in the future! Anyone interested in an anarchist puppet show, or short play, or anything else? Email us: Another.World.Is.Possible.Podcast (at) gmail.com

We've always invited anyone and everyone to email us and give us some feedback, comments, suggestions, angry letters, etc... That invitation is still open.

Also, if YOU have an idea of something that YOU think should be available online for thousands of people to see or hear LET US KNOW. We accept material from anyone as long as it is revolutionary or anarchist in nature. Wanna come help out? Volunteer to be a "Another World Is Possible" reader/recorder and have your ideas and your voice heard around the community, around Boston, and around the country!

In Solidarity,
the volunteer readers of the Another World Is Possible podcast
