If climate was a bank then the chief climate gangster, Obama, would have fixed it by now.

But the climate is a bank – the bank of all our futures.

America shows up for its first climate conference, wrecks it within 24 hours and creeps out the back door leaving a video like Bin Laden might.

Don’t let the colour fool you, Obama is just another Bush – just a little bit taller.

A Sudanese official, Lumumba Stanislas Dia-ping, who chairs the Group of 77 and China bloc of 130 poor nations, said the Obama pact was "a solution based on values, the very same values in our opinion that funnelled six million people in Europe into furnaces."

Dia-ping is known for strong statements and declared the draft deal the worst in the history of climate negotiations.

The draft "asked Africa to sign a suicide pact, an incineration pact, in order to maintain the economic dominance of a few countries," he said.
