Meditations "meditabundas" on the press.

The matter published in New Times on the President's visit of Iran to Brazil echoed enough in the Brazilian media:

Surprisingly, the Brazilian journalists didn't notice that "los gringos" should be dying from envy of Brazil. They did so many defecated in Iran (they dropped Mussadeq, they sustained the Shah's dictatorship Reza Palevh and they supported Iraq of Saddan in the war against the Islamic Revolution of Khomeini) that don't get more to trade with that country. Us Brazilian, however, we are in conditions of biting a significant portion of the income due to the sale of the Iranian petroleum, the Americans no. That is, actually, the reason of the dispute of NYT.

Of any way, is necessary to repeat always and always. Who does the foreign policy of Brazil is Itamaraty and no CIA, NYT or the USA State Department.

The national press also made an immense cry because of a report published in the El Pais, second which the visit of the President of Iran weakens Lula:

The journalists of the El Pais and their Brazilian friends didn't notice what is really essential. Iran is the largest supplier of petroleum of China and China is an excellent commercial partner from Brazil. While the economy of the USA sinks, the Chinese grows quickly. In less than 10 years China will occupy the place of the weakened evil American empire. An approach between Brazil and Iran is actually a form of demonstrating that Brazil is committed with the energy safety of China. Itamaraty takes care better of the future interests of Brazil of what the philosophers of the press dream.
