LA County CIO Office's Website Sucks

I was just looking for some shapefiles for the county of Los Angeles... and found this absurdity.

Go to the site and have a little laugh out loud. Though many of the LA County department websites suck, the one that sucks the hardest is the CIO's. What the hell is up with that? The CIO's page should at least have the guy's name, and some relevant information. All it has is generic text, entered into their CMS, and it's obvious that the department is not using it.

Where's the INFORMATION? Why can't I find the information I want -- the shapefiles for the county, cities in the county, and political districts? Surely, the shapefiles must be somewhere, because you all produce maps. That's unless you do it the old fashioned way -- with pencils and graph paper.

All I wanted to do was make a little web page that would show the shapes on Google Maps, just to see if I could do it. That's all.
