I'm using the New King James Version of the Bible which is an accurate translation of the original text.
Rev 13:1"Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea..."
John was on "the island that is called Patmos" which is found in the Mediterranean Sea. Rafik Hariri was born in Sidon, Lebanon, in 1944. Sidon is a seaport on the Mediterranean Sea.
Dan 11:21 "And in his place shall arise a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honor of royalty; but he shall come in peaceably, and seize the kingdom by intrigue."
In 1965 Hariri emigrated to Saudi Arabia where he worked as a maths teacher and an auditor for an engineering firm before setting up his own subcontracting firm in 1969. In 1983 Rafik Hariri was sent to Lebanon as a peace envoy by the king of Saudi Arabia. During the civil war in Lebanon he helped with reconstruction work (during cease-fires), while at the same time supporting different warring factions. In 1987 Hariri tried to bribe President Amin Gemayel with $30 million and the Syrians with $500 million in order to secure the premiership (according to Abdallah Bouhabib, then Lebanon's ambassador to Washington). In 1989 he helped organize a peace conference in Saudi Arabia that created the Ta'if Accord which led to the end of the civil war in 1990. In 1992 Hariri was appointed prime minister of Lebanon (with Syrian approval) by President Elias Hrawi, after having given him a house.
Dan 11:23 "And after the league is made with him he shall act deceitfully, for he shall come up and become strong with a small number of people."
The original text doesn't have "number of" and thus it is written in italics in the NKJV.
Lebanon is a small country with a small population.
Dan 11:40 "At the time of the end the king of the South shall attack him; and the king of the North shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter the countries, overwhelm them, and pass through."
Lebanon lies to the north of Israel.
Dan 11:38,39 "But in their place he shall honor a god of fortresses; and a god which his fathers did not know he shall honor with gold and silver, with precious stones and pleasant things. Thus he shall act against the strongest fortresses with a foreign god..."

Quotation from meib.org (Middle East Intelligence Bulletin): During his tenure in office, Hariri became Lebanon's largest real estate owner and developed a penchant for purchasing historical landmarks and estates belonging to prominent Lebanese historical figures. The mansion of Lebanon's first president Beshara al-khoury, was bought by Hariri and converted into a studio for his Future Television station. He also bought a mansion belonging to former president Camille Chamoun. Hariri's own residence in Kraitem was once owned by the late Najib Salha, a prominent Lebanese business and social figure. Salha's famous Phoenicia Hotel was also bought by Hariri. The Kazan Centre in Beirut was bought by the prime minister and turned into the headquarters of his Mediterranean Bank (it is said that the owner sold it at a huge discount after being led to believe that the Centre's foundations would be damaged by government plans to build a traffic tunnel underneath it).

Rafik Hariri was killed on Feb 14, 2005 by a suicide car bomb near the St. George Hotel in Beirut. The United Nations tribunal set up to try suspects in Mr. Hariri's killing opened near the Hague on the 1st of March 2009.

According to Islamic tradition, there will be a world leader known as the Mahdi who will defeat the Jews and Christians and convert the world to Islam. In other words, he is antichrist. Hariri was a Sunni Muslim and is buried in the Mohammed Amin Mosque in Beirut, which he financed.
The Dome of the Rock (an Islamic shrine) stands on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem which is widely considered as the third holiest site in Islam.

Meanwhile, the ambitious billionaire began speaking publicly for the first time about his belief in the "shared destiny" of Lebanon and Syria in a clear bid to reassure Damascus that he would not contest its control over the country. Syria's reluctance to hand political power to this towering financial giant gradually diminished. After orchestrating the 1992 parliamentary elections to produce a compliant parliament, the Syrians handed the premiership to Hariri...
The Company for the Development and Reconstruction of Beirut's Central District (Commonly known by its French acronym Solidère), in which Hariri is the primary shareholder, expropriated most property in the central business district of Beirut, compensating each owner with shares in the company (which in some cases, were worth as little as 15% of the property's value). That Hariri and his business associates profited immensely from the project was an open secret.

Hariri died when his motorcade was blown up by a white Mitsubishi Canter Van packed with explosives, as he drove on the Maritime road on his way back to the Kuraytem Palace. The Maritime route (western Beirut sea front) was one of three possible routes he could have used to return to the Palace.
The Mehlis report (UN investigation) states: 108. Mr Saddik also gave information about the Mitsubishi itself and that the driver eventually assigned had been an Iraqi individual who had been led to believe that the target was Iraqi Prime Minister Iyad Allawi (who happened to be in Beirut prior to the assassination).
Rev 13:3 "And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast."
The Mehlis report states: Mr Hariri was taken to the American University Hospital where his body was identified and the cause of death concluded to be immediate brain injury resulting in cardiac arrest.
Hariri had been at the wheel of an armoured Mercedes.
