5.0 Quake Near Hollywood Park, Inglewood, Lennox

I just felt it. USGS says it's 5.0

If the USGS numbers are correct, then this is a pretty large quake.

For comparison, the Whittier Narrows quake was 5.9, and the Northridge quake was 6.7.

The USGS has a feature on their site where they survey people to see how the quake felt to them. What's fascinating is that it's like a map of where the wealthier, more "wired" people live. If not that, then it shows where people who know about USGS.gov live. Perhaps it's an indicator of youth.

As of 9:13, the two zipcodes in Inglewood posted 5 responses.

The 90024 and 90025 area codes posted more than 80 responses each.

Famous zipcode 90210 posted 15 responses.

Nearby Culver City posted 85 responses. Equally neaby Compton posted 4.

Heavily wired San Diego posted hundreds of responses, despite being well over 100 miles from the epicenter.

Fuckin Aliso Viejo posted over 100. Do they live on the internet or what.
