LOS ANGELES, May 15, 2009 - There are reports of teachers picketing this morning at campus throughout the city. In place of a planned one day strike for today that a judge issued an injunction against.
There are also reports of some students walking out in support of their teachers at Venice High and Hamilton High. Large group said to be demonstrating on the front lawn of Venice at this time.

40 teachers were arrested this morning when they sat down in the street in an act of civil disobedience to protest layoffs and budget cuts in the Los Angeles school district.
