FESTIVAL OF BOOKS @ UCLA campus, in westwood
This is a great fun weekend of seeing real life authors,
looking thru all kinds of books not always available in commercial bookstores near you,
meeting old friends who love to read, buying at a bit of discount perhaps a suddenly found irrisistible book ,
having children play on fun soft equipment or listen to stories being dramatized in real life ,
listen to authors give FREE lectures with Q&A then often also available,
seeing a real live author or more, to see who these writers 'really are' different than book photo covers,
and
a great way to take family to an Educational event that is FREE to all in LA.
bring your friendliness, curiosity, own snacks, maybe a small blanket to sit on, and family with friends for a FREE, fun, sunny day outing.
May as well ENJOY another free and easy event with a big crowd of interested los angelenos also hanging around...why not ? You might even buy a book....or not....
