Arroyo’s Political Circus: Col. Mancao stands as state witness to double murder case

Los Angeles- In a new political circus staged-managed by US puppet Arroyo, self-exiled police superintendent Cezar Mancao II said he agreed to become a state witness to the Dacer-Corbito double murder case and will no longer contest the extradition applied for by the Philippine government against him.

The Alliance-Philippines sources learned that Legal counsel Arnedo Valera, Esq. based in Virginia revealed that upon agreement with the Department of Justice, Mancao executed an affidavit on February 14, 2009, revealing significant facts and names of individuals alleged involved in the murder of Salvador Dacer and his driver Corbito in 2000.

Valera said the sworn statement would again be authenticated when Mancao returns to the Philippines towards the end of March this year.
Mancao is one of the suspects of the murder of Dacer and Corbito in 2002 and was arrested in Florida.

Mancao's wife Maricar and four children are personally asking the Philippine government to protect him being a witness to the high profile crime that happened eight years ago.

The AJLPP sources also learned that Valera cautioned the Philippine government not to use the Mancao case as a political propaganda and sheer political gimmickry to divert the attention of the Filipino people from the national issues and scandals like corruption and human rights violations plaguing the country.

Solve the Dacer-Corbito Double Murder Case

Hindi kailangan ng pamahalaan ang Mancao revelation for them to act on these cases, otherwise double standard ang labas ng justice system natin," Valera added.

Talks are rife that former senator Panfilo Lacson has been tagged as having to do with the Dacer-Corbito double murder case, a potential presidential candidate for 2010 who will run against President Arroyo, hence opening the case may be damning for his political plans.

In several media interviews, Lacson denied any involvement in the killing of Dacer and Corbito. AJLPP also learned that both the Estrada and Lacson camps had sent operators to the United States to remedy the situation.

Last September, the Philippine government through Justice Undersecretary Ricardo Blancaflor filed a request to extradite Mancao and another suspect, former police Senior Superintendent Glenn Dumlao, who both fled to the US to escape prosecution. The US granted the request in November. #
