Protest Against The Gaza Incursion Draws Thousands To Westwood

Californians arrived from all parts of the southland on saturday to demonstrate against the Israeli Incursion which is heading into it's third week in the Gaza strip.. The protest was followed by a dramatic mass march through Westwood. The crowd ( which numbered in the thousands ) rallied at the Wilshire Federal Building where a variety of speakers inspired the morally alarmed and highly diverse crowd.

And as in other demonstrations surrounding this issue there was an overwhelming family presence throughout the protest and march. Traffic ran unimpeded along Wlshire where horn honking was in evidence throughout the event.

The Los Angeles police presence was subdued with some exceptions.
