The City of Pomona says they'll do police checkpoints every two weeks. We say we'll be there to protest.

Following the 4 way checkpoint on May 3, 2008 nearby a Cinco de Mayo festival thrown by the city of Pomona, City Council members and community members alike were outraged at the overtly racist and illegal checkpoint targeting the Latino community event. Since that day a coalition was formed called the "Pomona Habla Coalition" which looks into the legality of said checkpoints and attempts to hold the Pomona Police Department accountable for any violations of the grant agreements per the Office of Traffic Safety.
