“All businesses selling their products in the U.S. will have to certify that their products were manufactured in accordance with this country’s labor, wage, environmental, and safety laws… that they meet or exceed these….no matter where they were produced. This will take away the urge of people to come to this country to get a livable wage…as well as to cut the corporate urge for out-sourcing. I believe we need immigrants. I will treat all immigrants fairly, without racist filters. I believe we as citizens of the world should have the right of free movement. But I do believe that businesses which hire non-citizens of this country have to pay these non-citizens the same wages as they pay to citizens.”
