The Cindy Sheehan Campaign submits signatures which will place her on the ballot against Bush Enabler Nancy Pelosi
The people of San Francisco have begun to speak and their final statement may not only shake up local politics but the nation and the world. Yesterday, Cindy Sheehan and campaign aides and supporters completed their presentation of over 13,233 petition signatures to place her name on the November ballot as an independent candidate running against Speaker of the House and Bush enabler Nancy Pelosi. This level of petitioners should be sufficient to pass the review by the San Francisco Department of Elections in order to have Cindy's name placed on the November ballot.
Of course, the major media appears to be fufilling its role as lapdog of the establishment by hardly covering or mentioning this important step in the people's movement to remove Pelosi and other politicians who have failed to protect our constitutional rights and have enabled a corrupt, immoral and criminal administration to engage in a war based on lies, the loss of habeas corpus rights, illegal wiretapping of American Citizens, kidnapping, torture and illegal imprisonment of american citizens and foreigners. Many people have observed Pelosi as being an enabler of these Bush travesties and question why she has not been more aggressive in fighting the agendas of this corrupt administration. Frequent passage of Bills like the FISA act have put into question Pelosi's motives for giving Bush laws he calls "everything I wanted."
