Happy Spring! The world in the light of grace is a world that needs its eyes opened (cf. Eberhard Juengel).

Jesus calls us to the creation of a new language and a new mathematics, “to speak as Jesus spoke in a way that scandalizes and draws people” so that we even “fall in the spokes of the wheel” (cf. Dietrich Bonhoeffer).
The empire’s tacit assumption is that we own the world and others are “un-people” (Noam Chomsky: “Iraq-The Forever War”). In the US of Amnesia, we don’t learn history (Gore Vidal).
May we turn around the day for the world so the foreign word “hope” becomes an anthem of praise and new beginning!
Jurgen Moltmann, an emeritus professor of systematic theology at the University of Tubingen, has been active in the Jewish-Christian dialogue. One of the greatest living theologians, he is the author of “Theology of Hope,” “The Crucified God,” “The Church in the Power of the Spirit” and “God and Nature: An Ecological Doctrine of the Trinity.”
Hope distinguishes us from all creation and enables us to go beyond everything past and present in the power of the coming, the power of the promise. The God above us is the God before us.
