WSSA Feminist Film Series

The Women's Studies Student Association (WSSA) at Cal State University Long Beach (CSULB) is beginning a Feminist Film Series. This semester (Spring 2008) we are hosting two screenings the first of which will be a double feature of Yoko Ono films on Thursday April 24, 2008.

Our second event will take place on May 8, 2008 and we are still deciding which film to choose. Next semester (Fall 2008) we plan to have bi-weekly screenings for a total of 6 films. We will have a guest speaker at each event.

Our goal is to have these events be community-based and welcome all to the free screenings. We are also open to suggestions and wish to network with local feminists, community groups, activists, and organizations who may want to participate and/or collaborate.
