Now the fundraising begins!
Money is the mother’s milk of political campaigns and this is not time to re-invent the wheel.
The campaign contribution limit is ,300 per election cycle per person.
We are asking for volunteers to join “Team Ted” and pledge to raise ,000.00 for the campaign. This can be done several ways. Contribute the funds yourself or accept the responsibility of raising the funds from friends and co workers.
There are a few rules you will have to follow. Number one being not accept cash!
Please obtain the following information from all donors: name, address, employer and occupation. These are required by FEC rules. If the contribution is .00 or less we still need the information but the contributor will not be listed on any reporting forms.
We are going to post the Team Ted results on the web site and at the end of each reporting period hold a major event for the Team which raises the most funds.
Here is how you can participate.
1. Respond with your acceptance.
2. Let us know what name you pick for your team.
3. Advise who will be the Team Leader holding the funds and sending them to the campaign.
4. If you want to host a house event and want Ted to attend, let us know.
