You can vote by mail from January 7 through February 5, 2008 in the California primary. The only serious peace candidates are the socialist and Green Party candidates. Instead of the staged Democrat-Republican campaigns in Iowa and New Hampshire, we should be hearing on all other peace media about the socialist and Green Party campaigns, the latter being on the ballot in all 50 states plus Washington, D.C

The only serious peace candidates are the socialist and Green Party candidates. Instead of the staged Democrat-Republican campaigns in Iowa and New Hampshire, we should be hearing on all other peace media about the socialist and Green Party campaigns, the latter being on the ballot in all 50 states plus Washington, D.C.

For all states, we can go by the rule of thumb that 1/4 of the population are children (under age 18) and at least 1/2 of the adult population never votes. This is a country of 300 million people, of whom 100 million vote for somebody in the presidential general election in November. With this in mind, we can see that the small states like Iowa and New Hampshire cannot possibly determine anything but instead are used by the twin parties of capitalism to stage campaigns, with a false sense of excitement in the first one to get you to go to your polls in later primaries and vote for another member of the Democrat-Republican team, and it is all one private club, of, by and for the richest 1/10 of 1% who own the means of production, the capitalist class.

In Iowa, a state of 2.9 million people, there is a Green Party and a Socialist Party which ran candidates for president in 2000. See

http://www.sos.state.ia.us/pdfs/2000%20G%20PresVp.pdf

In New Hampshire, a state of 1.2 million people, there is a Green Party on the ballot. Unfortunately, they have endorsed Dennis Kucinich, the anti-abortion, anti-Mumia Abu Jamal Democrat for president in the primary, which means the Green Party of New Hampshire has a lot to learn. It is apparently not an accredited state Green Party and as the following press release makes clear, the Green Party candidate will be chosen at the national convention. See

http://www.commondreams.org/news2003/1028-05.htm

In New Hampshire, there will be a Socialist Party on the ballot. See

http://vote-socialist.org/p08/questionnaires/burleson.html

In California, we have the socialist Peace & Freedom Party and the Green Party, which will have candidates on the February 5 primary ballot and in the general election. For both parties, the candidate in November is decided at the general convention held after the primary.

Peace & Freedom Party's candidates are found at:

THE PARTY STATEMENTS ARE ALSO IN YOUR CALIFORNIA VOTE GUIDE YOU SHOULD HAVE BY NOW, PAGE 22. You will be receiving a Supplemental California guide for the rest of the propositions and a County guide for your County propositions and voting information, including your polling place, which is on the back cover of your County voter handbook.

For more information on the California propositions, see

YOU CAN REGISTER TO VOTE FOR THE FEBRUARY 5 ELECTION UNTIL JANUARY 22. Go to your Country Registrar and register and vote. We are voting by mail (absentee) from January 7 through February 5. For more on the Los Angeles voting procedures and places, see

http://www.lavote.net/VOTER/Voter_Registration.cfm

You should consider voting Yes on 92 and No on all the rest for California.

Since most of the non-voters are the workingclass, we need massive voter registration of the workingclass into P&F and Green, preferably P&F, for these elections. So long as elections exist, we should make the best use of them. Please always vote your conscience as that is the only way things will improve. If you vote for evil, you will certainly receive evil. We overcome election fraud by a massive outpouring of votes for peace candidates who are independent like Cindy Sheehan (on the San Francisco ballot in November) or Green or Red. Please vote.
