Extract from my latest work:

I have this effect on people from time to time, even in good light, but maybe under the Moon, stomping out of the darkness with a wide grin on my face, maybe I didn't look so nice. Maybe the guy thought I'd kill him or something for running down my friend. Whatever it was, by the time I got there and pressed my nose up to his, he'd let go and had done watered his shorts, adding another fresh stench to the cheap wine and beer on his breath.

"Hey, buddy," I whispered into his face. "My friend wants to see your insurance card." This caused the drunk to blink his eyes rapidly, the clogged machine that passed for his brain finally starting to roll. "Whuhhh?" croaked out of his fat face. "Gnuhh?"
