To the Long Beach Veterans Day Parade Committee

I was applaud to find that Iraq Veterans Against the War were being denied their rightful place in the Long Beach Veterans Day Parade. These men and women earned the right to march along with all other service members, myself included, in such an event. Their being denied makes a mockery of the entire celebration. It is an insult to their service, and the credibility of Long Beach citizens as Americans. These young men and women are a hell of a lot braver than your "just tow the line and hope for the best" cowards who are afraid to stand up and speak for what is righteous. Shame on your city for it's cowardice. Now you can expect one more angry veteran at your parade. ME!

Your parade is far from non political, as the organizers claim. It is a celebration of war. It is being used as a recruitment tool to encourage other unsuspecting and uninformed youth to sign their lives into what amounts to legalized slavery. It is just one of many unethical tools, along with Hollywood propaganda and just plain out and out lies, used to abduct our youth and threaten their lives. Why don't you just hit them in the head with your rifle butts and throw them into the back of a truck. At least it would be more honest.

The purpose of the parade is to honor American vets, not give publicity to other groups.

No anti war or other nonsense that infringes on the rights of Corporate Government to go forth and pillage the resources of the world.
Go Army. Unless you disagree. Then it's just, "go away" something all vets should get used to after service.
