Federal Judge Blocks "Immigration Raids"

A U.S. Federal Judge in San Francisco has just blocked the "immigration crackdown" raids that have been taking place.

Reuters news agency via Yahoo! News has just reported the story as of 45 minutes ago.

Judge Charles Breyer said "The balance of hardships tips sharply in plaintiffs' favor and plaintiffs have raised serious questions", meaning that there is an increased burden upon the Department of Homeland Security to justify the raids.

The ACLU, AFL-CIO and other labor organizations had challenged the actions in court.
