Awesome Video

by mous Wednesday, Oct. 03, 2007 at 3:08 PM

That's a great video. The SOS say that they are sympathetic to, and think like the White Nationalists, but that the WNs are not welcome because of their negative image. At least the SOS know what they're really about, and know that they're hiding their Nazism temporarily until there's a more fascist climate in this country, when they could come out as the Nazis they are.

Of course, there's some other oddness in the video. One guy seems to have a Che G. shirt. So, maybe these SOSers are really more like the Nazis than they claim. The Nazis had a leftist faction that believed that socialism could exist within the nation, and there was not a real need for international solidarity between the working classes of all ethnic groups. After the Nazis won power, they pushed to continue the revolution, turning it into a working class revolution.

That pretty much is where the skinhead WN movement is -- a working class demand for state sponsored, state enforced racism to benefit only White people, and to oppress everyone else.

The multicultural, libertarian, and left factions in SOS and other "anti-illegal-immigration" groups should take a lesson from history. The leftists who collaborated with the Nazis were still murdered by Hitler's faction. The Jews who were sympathetic with the Nazis didn't escape genocide. The "left" in the party were used, and then exterminated.

If things turn toward stronger anti-immigration laws, these quasi-moderates will find the "anti-illegal-immigration" rhetoric quickly shift to become "anti-immigration" and "anti-color" and "pro-European". White Nationalists and fascists will, again, be welcome back into the fold as thug-brownshirts to do the "dirty work" of providing "security" and terrorizing people of color.

Common ground between SOS & PRD?

by U.S. agribusiness corps exploit migrant labor Thursday, Oct. 04, 2007 at 7:35 PM

If the following verses come off as arrogant and threatening, my sincere apologies. However, the tone being set is serious enough to warrent some attention, and the frustration directed at the two opposing groups in the immigrant debate is nothing new..

Warnings ignored for too long a time becomes our collective death sentence, and i include myself in that category. However, to quote the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, "We Are Prepared" and that prior knowledge is where the anger and apparent indifference to the collective death sentence and immigration debate comes from, it is because of the foolishness of the current U.S. imperialist regime that we all may die together..

Addressing the photo "SOS hugs PRD" above;

Look further into the ideology expressed by former Mexican presidential candidate Manuel Lopez Obrador of the PRD and what he said about U.S. based agribusiness corporations (ie., Cargill, ADM, Monsanto, etc..) and their effects on the Mexican maize farmer, increased displacement from tierra and resulting migration to el norte..

The primary reason being the flooding of the Mexican maize (corn) market by U.S. agribusiness drives Mexican farmers out of business, then selling off their land to some (agribusiness) corporation, packing their bags and heading to el norte to work in U.S. agribusiness fields for minimum wage or less (if undocumented)..

This process of free trade and flooding foreign markets with U.S. subsidized corn is part of the NAFTA plan, heavily endorsed by the ruling PAN party (Calderon) and equally heavily critiqued by the PRD party of Obrador (Mexico's true president, minus election fraud, think Gore & FL). Obrador is in favor of joining Chavez's Mercosur trade partnership, and this would be in the best interest of the Mexican maize farmers..

In other words, or the words of another;

"Mexico has been losing ground economically since joining NAFTA. Mercosur requires single membership (in other words, countries like Bolivia would have to pull out of the Andean Pact to join, though the two trade groups may merge, or Mercosur may make special rules for Bolivia). NAFTA was originally pushed by PRI President Carlos Salinas de Goutari, though PRI has lost much of its original enthusiasm for the trading bloc since then. The PRD and the smaller left-wing parties never liked it, and have been pushing for more pan-Latin economic intergration. ONLY PAN, and only the wing of the party to which Calderón belongs, have been cheerleaders for the status quo development plans."

"The new tortilla war"

by

Luis Hernández Navarro (4-April-2007)

"Why has the price of tortillas gone up in Mexico? Three basic reasons: first, and most importantly, because of hording and speculation in white corn by agrobusiness monopolies; seconldy, because of the increase in the basic costs of fuel used in the production, transportation and processing of the gain – diesel, electricity and gasoline; third, the rising pricve of maize in the world market as a result of its use in ethanol production.

"Cargill, a 140 year old company, is the second largest privat ecompany in the world, and has 149,000 employees in 72 countries. Fortune magazine lists it as the 20th most important company on the planet. It buys, processes and distributes grain and other agricultural products, describing itself in its literature as: “the flour in your bread, the wheat in your noodles, the salt in your la harina en su pan, el trigo en sus tallarines, la flavor in your food. We are the corn in your tortillas, the chocolate in your dessert, the additives in your gasoline. We are the oil in your salad dressing, and the meat, pork or chicken you have at dinner. We are the cotton in your clothes, the stuffing in your sofa and the fertilizer in your field.”

The multinational has had a presence in Mexico for more than 80 years, beginning with forestry operations in the Northeast. In 1972 it opened it’s first office in the country with six employees. When NAFTA came in and after Conasupo ceased operations, there was a huge gap in the Mexican market, which the international giant was poised to fill. It’s presence in Mexican agriculture is overwhelming.

Under NAFTA, corn imports from the United States were subject to yearly caps, with imports over the yearly amount subject to tariffs. However, the Mexican government unilaterally eliminated this protection, permitting any amount of grain to come in without penalties. Between 1994 and 2001, the import quota rose to nearly 13 million tons. The two major agricultural corporations, Cargill and ADM sold most of the U.S. corn sold in Mexico, and benefited enormously from the end of tariffs. In addition, they also benefited from the indirect subsidy they received from Washington in the form of export credits."

Manuel Lopez Obrador is a Mexican who speaks the truth, and thus he is isolated and loses an election via theft. Corporate rule on both sides of the US/MEX border is the rule of the day, and those who challenge their authority are deemed as "losers". However, this loser "Obrador" is a winner when it comes to telling the truth, no matter how unpopular said truth sounds..

The photo of the Euro-american lady with the SOS pin hugging the Mexican-american man in the PRD shirt is actually what we need to see more of, instead of a dividing line of people standing in the L.A. sun hollering at one another, using up all that water in the process of hollering. Of course hollering is drama, and we all know how LA loves their soap operas..

BTW, that water belongs to nobody besides los rios, so keep up the divisive bickering silliness, see how long those hydroelectric dams and agribusiness canals last. You'll all find plenty of common ground across your imaginary borders when your precious stolen rio water stops coming, won't you??

At least these two individuals in photo above are showing that they possess some intellect by reaching out to one another in a gesture of solidarity, something which many others on both sides of the immigration debate seem to lack..

That is another reason why the goals of a non-violent seccesion (Cascadia y Nuevo Aztlan) are sounding more reasonable in the face of an ever growing U.S imperialist militarism. Following the crisis and forced relocation of African-americans in the Katrina/FEMA camp disaster, a New Afrikan Republic nation in the southeast isn't as far off as we may be led to believe..

Why wait til '08?? Why repeat Katrina/FEMA camp relocations?

What we need to see more of is community projects like South Central campesino farm, and the process of land reclamation throughout the desert regions of the southwest..

background info on the farm;

"At the South Central Farm, all cultivation was organic. According to Flores, many of the farmers were using techniques that they had previously employed in their home countries—Mexico, the countries of Central America, even Venezuela. Organic farming, of course, already represents a progressive step, considering that the vast majority of farmers in the United States (and Latin America as well) use conventional, chemical- and petroleum-based techniques. But urban farming in an industrial area of south central requires even more innovation. The farmers ripped up the concrete, cleaned away the trash littering this city block, and restored fertility to the earth below. They had to build the soil quality up from scratch, slowly contributing to its organic matter content and transforming it into usable land. Not only did the farm succeed in producing healthy, cheap, and local vegetables, it also created a surprisingly high level of biodiversity. Devon Peña, professor of anthropology at the University of Washington, estimates that 100-150 different species were present in the farm’s ecosystem. Compared with the stark industrial backdrop, replete with concrete, warehouses, and industrial train tracks, it represented an ecological haven, a veritable urban jungle. Tezozomoc, one of the farm’s elected representatives, argued that the farm’s lush greenery ameliorates the neighborhood’s environmental degradation and countering air pollution. The community recognizes the benefits of its methods and hopes to create a school to disseminate these agricultural alternative and urban farming practices to a wider audience."

Call it Nuevo Aztlan or the California seccesion, the bottom line is that the agribusiness corporations of CA and in the SW beyond need to have their charters revoked and that land (on both sides of our imaginary borders) needs to be reclaimed and restored by the people ASAP..

The relatively small amount of landspace used by the South Central campesino farm to grow such biodiversity translates into a network of community gardens stretching across the landscape, including cacti, drought tolerant native trees and other needed improvements to the land currently dominated by large amounts of landspace trapped in corporate plantation monocultura..

The sooner both sides of the immigration debate recognize this, the more likely that ya'll will actually survive through the upcoming shifts in the ecosystem. Your hydroelectric diversion dams are coming down sooner or later, by hook or by crook, and it's not going to be the Iranian Revolutionary Guard of the "evil" Pres. Ahmadinejad held responsible this time around..

(Side note);

"What if America does attack Iran? The Basij (also Bassij or Baseej, Persian: بسيج), is a volunteer based Iranian paramilitary force that was founded by Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini in November of 1979. The Basij are currently subordinate to the Army of the Guardians of the Islamic Revolution (often known in the west as the "Revolutionary Guards"). "

Check this video message from the Baseej @;

Not Blackwater, the Dept. of Homeland Security or the ICE is gonna stop those aging rio suffocating dams from coming down! This is one situation where Al-Queda and the so-called "terrorists" only need to sit on their hands and wait for the eventual seismic rupture, coming straight from Al Lat (the Earth Goddess). Like a nasty cholesterol clog in the arterial system of a human who just started running vigourously, the dams that clog the veins of Madre Tierra will be washed away in a divine flood of rio agua..

Praise Al Lah! Praise Al Lat! Praise Madre Tierra! Praise Los Rios!!

Our rio agua theft transport canals can be disabled anywhere along the line. Not that delivering rocket fuel (perchlorate) laced rio agua to the lettuce crops of CA's Imperial Valley can be considered functional or desireable??

Save our State can start Saving some Seeds and getting ready to get down and dirty in the soil with the Mexicanos in the Nuevo Aztlan community garden systems, or try their luck with storing up on some canned food in their underground bunkers. All those guns and bullets won't do much if you're surrounded by dead bloated corpses and dry empty fields, now will they??

Minutemen can spend a few more minutes at their public libraries researching edible native plants, and how to restore indigenous ecosystems to their pre-Columbus conditions. After all, aren't you nativists??

As far as the folks who are all fine and dandy with the Mexican folks coming here to el norte to take the shit jobs in agribusiness, meat packing warehouses and chokesetters in logging, we've got something for ya'll too..

Don't think that this apparent defense of the "right to work" is a smokescreen for the reality of virtual slavery in U.S. corporations being visited on the people of Mexico as a result of the land displacement and economic arm twisting enabled by NAFTA. The economic desperation of the cheap labor offered by Mexican immigrants that drives our economic turbines in the U.S. isn't helping gain any ground for sustainable practices in any of these fields..

Nor does this author believe it is "just the Mexicans", i am aware that Honduras, Guatemala and other central/south american nations are facing the same problem of land displacement, thoguh the majority here in el norte remain Mexicans..

When falling for the trap set by the CIA brainwash camp handlers of the Minutemen/SOS goons, the opposition (pro-immigrant) groups demanding the exact opposite of the SOS/Minutemen spokespeople is exactly what the corporations like Cargill want, keep on fighting one another and avoid any dialogue about the real issues that influence land displacement in Mexico and resulting immigrations to el norte..

To the die-hard (oh, you're gonna!) Minutmen/SOS folkkks who want to continue hollerin' at the Mexican folks without questioning your own U.S. government, this is for you;

Your food system of industrial agribusiness is more vulnerable than you ever imagined in your worst nightmare. Your own precious U.S. government is planning (or ignoring, same difference) the reality of a massive famine and genocide right here in the americas once the biotech monoculture crops are compromised by an efficient virus (see Ft. Detrick, Plum Island bioweapons research). As mechanization becomes the norm, the human population is seen as an excess by the profit based capitalist imperialist system. You've dug yourselves into your own graves, so keep on sportin' the red, white and blue. Keep waving those flags, yelling in the street, ya'll fools don't know what's coming. At least the jihadists are going to avoid the worst of the suffering, following the ecosystem collapse in the SW, the imperialist population centers will be filled with plenty o' rats on the barbie, know what i'm saying??

However, the ancient wisdom of indigenous floodplain farming, campesino polycultura gardens awaits at your fingertips in any public library. Get to know the three sisters other than in a sexual sense. We're talking about maiz, beans and squash as symbiotic companion crops. Get to know about the Tohono O'odham and floodplain farming, the benefits of seasonal flooding and river meanders. This ain't England folks, so if you can't take the heat, click those ruby reds together and fly back to the ol' country. The longer ya'll stand in the street hollerin' at one another about who gets to stay and work for agribusiness corporations, the longer it will take to get those community gardens going..

Don't like the community gardens of nuevo aztlan?? Then go back to Europe!! See how your "own" people treat you! Really think they're gonna bow down for the mighty U.S. citizens?? (Same goes for the "Uncle Toms" like ol' Ted Hayes, there's a ship waiting to sail with your name on it also!!) We've all had plenty enough of post-Columbus colonialismo, imperialist sympathizers and we're not having it anymore!!

The remainder of us people remaining here in the americas are reclaiming and restoring land for the indigenous (pre-Columbus) peoples of the americas, neither Spanish nor English. This all stems from broken treaties and theft of indigenous land by squatters and later corporations. Much of the land wanted by indigenous nations for reclamation isn't currently occupied by civilians, only U.S military bases (ie., Nevada Test Site) and for profit corporations (mining, logging, ranching, agribusiness, etc..) In the long run, reclaiming and restoring land for the indigenous nations will benefit everyone, regardless of where our ancestors originate..

In all honesty, if you're not down with recognition of indigenous sovereignty, we really don't want you here, wherever you come from. Over time, the land itself will reject you. However, if you ARE ready to reclaim and return land to indigenous nations, you are most certainly welcome here regardless of where you are from. There will be plenty of food to go around for ALL, trust in the wisdom of the land and the ancients who thrived here on this land for many centuries prior to the invasion of the Euro-imperialists. Fair enough??

We can ALL grow together as a people by recognizing and embracing the sovereignty and ecological wisdom of the indigenous nations here prior to the arrival of Cristobal Columbo and Euro-colonialism.....

Well done. In total agreement.
The destruction of this hemisphere through corporate rapine.
And the willful participation of a population addicted to sugar, entertainment and shiny toys.
Dreamland only works when the hunger in the belly is not gnawing your families days and nights.
We must come together or die in mass.
Cuba also serves as a template for communal food production in such practices as fruit trees planted in as many places as possible allowing public harvesting.

I once had a discussion about Anarchism with Robin Hvidston and she had a moment of thought when she said, "then I'm an Anarchist." I forgot all the conversation but I think I was indicating the variety of Anarchists.
