Cushing's syndrome, sometimes called ``hypercortisolism,'' is a hormonal disorder caused by prolonged exposure of the body's tissues to high levels of the stress hormone called cortisol. Long-term (chronic) use of corticosteroid medications, for the treatment of conditions such as lupus, asthma, and rheumatoid arthritis, is the most common cause of Cushing's syndrome. Facts about Samaritan

1) The CEO has run several major scams before, including a $100 million fraud against insurance companies that left many people with unwarranted medical records. She is not a "Dr." despite the fact that she calls herself one. She has a PhD from a shut-down diploma mill. In SEC documents and other bios she falsely claims (among other things): to have received a presidential appointment from Jimmy Carter, to be an associate professor at several universities, and to have received a degree in restaurant/hotel management from a school that has never existed.

2) Her son, also possessing bogus degrees from an online law school, is the CFO and COO.

3) The company has around 10 employees. At least 4 of the people on the payroll are related to each other and live at the same address.

4) The market cap is now about $36 million. They have gone through over $150 million in funds.

5) They do not employ a single medical doctor or person qualified to develop drugs. Their chief drug development officer is a pharmacist who never had a "Dr." in his title until he landed at LIV, and who has a shaky professional history of his own.

6) Every drug they claim "in development" is either in pre-clinical stage (12 years away from market) or has been abandoned.

7) Every drug they have in development is essentially a mixture of commonly available substances that have no valuable properties for the diseases they are "developing" them for. A product known as �Gerovital,� also a mixture of procaine hydrochloride and vitamins, is already available.

8) They do not own the rights to and have been denied a �use patent� for the one substance (a "food product" in Nevada) currently undergoing early Phase II FDA testing (4 years after Phase I, in a different category, with no published results). LIV falsely advertised this product for years as having completed Phase II.

9) The company sold unregistered securities to SteinMorgan, a boilerroom operation that has been busted many times for illegal sales and tactics.

Facts that are second-hand but not disputed:

10) There is a substantial connection between the CEO and the Church of $cientology, widely regarded as an international criminal organization that specializes in money-laundering.

11) They have misused shareholder money in various ways, including lavish month-long trips to Europe on the excuse of presenting at a 1-day conference. The mother-and-son team is paid $765,000 a year in salary alone.

12) Georgetown professors are paid to add their name to the company and to add Greeson's name to junk research performed years ago. They are not conducting any experiments that could benefit Samaritan shareholders. There is no such thing as �Samaritan Research Laboratories,� despite references in the press and SEC documents.

13) Their so-called �charitable foundation� has no funding from the corporation and no intent other than to garner misleading publicity for the company.

Conclusion: The entire company is a scam. There is no intention to ever develop a worthwhile drug. They only want to release press releases, pump the stock, and live fat and happy on investor dollars until the company goes bankrupt.
