Join the US/Cuba Labor Exchange to participate
in the Travel Challenge to Cuba
Friday, July 20 to Friday, July 27, 2007

A group of trade unionists and workers are exercising their constitutional
right to travel, to gather educational information and to have an exchange
of ideas worth other workers of the world. These rights are guaranteed by
the US Constitution and by the International Human Rights declaration of the
United Nations.

"...one has a moral responsibility to disobey unjust laws."
Rev. Martin Luther
King Jr.

The main organizers of the travel challenge are Pastors for Peace and
Venceremos Brigade.
The US/Cuba Labor Exchange and the NNOC will return and cross the border
into the US with the Venceremos Brigade delegation. This travel challenge is
organized to defend our constitutional rights of free association, free
travel, and free speech.
The Bush Administration is engaging in a full-scale attack against Cuba
travel and the US/Cuba Labor Exchange is a powerful way to speak back to
reclaim our right to see Cuba for ourselves.

The price will be $1,250 which will include ground transportation from
Detroit, Michigan to Toronto, Canada, round trip airfare from Toronto to
Havana, Cuba, Canadian taxes, hotel accommodation (2 meals, breakfast and
dinner), transportation to the program, translation, the program, and Noche
Cubana.
