Ferd Eggan has dedicated his life as a respected leader in the HIV/AIDS community. He was the longest-serving AIDS Coordinator in the history of the City, serving from 1993 to 2001.
His hard work continues to impact the programs and policies within the AIDS Coordinator's Office and throughout the City.
So please join us as the Los Angeles City Council honors Ferd for his leadership in improving HIV/AIDS programs, services and education, as we proclaim June 25 to 29 National AIDS Testing Week and launch the City's HIV Counseling and Testing Initiative.
