Protesting against the Scientology corporation's alleged crimes and abuses, world-renouwn human rights activist is arrested and jailed.

Human Rights activist and highly regarded futurist Keith Henson was arrested Tuesday, May 8th, after a hearing during which he was denied lawful due process. He is currently being extradited to California on an Governor's warrant on a minor misdemeanor -- a never-before-used and obscure law titled "Interfering With A Religion" -- while picketing and protesting the Scientology corporation for its involvement in a number of disturbing homicides involving its customers -- as well as for the killing of non-Scientologist Ashlee Shaner.

The arrest and jailing came as a surprise to everyone, including Mr. Henson's attorney who was not given copies of the warrant and who has been unable to reach Mr. Henson by telephone.

Exactly why Mr. Henson's attorney was never given an opportunity to file a motion against the unseen warrant has never been explained by the State of Arizona which arrested Mr. Henson however the refusal to submit such documentation to Mr. Henson's attorney constituted another disturbing violation of Federal laws of which this bizarre case has seen plenty.

What's more disturbing is the fact that Mr. Henson was arrested at all. Currently the Governor of California is tasked with the overwhelming problem of having severely overcrowded prisons to the point where violent felons are being released to make room for more violent felons.

The prison system within in the State of California was designed to hold approximately 100,000 inmates however the system currently house almost twice that number. A large majority of the felons within the system are incarcerated on violence-related narcotics charges and it's virtually unheard of to have a beleaguered State seek the extradition of a minor misdemeanor offense such as Mr. Henson's.

The case for which Keith Henson is being extradited is a seven-year-old misdemeanor. Mr. Henson is 64-year-old and has never been in trouble with the law, is recognized around the world as a renowned human rights activist and far-seeing futurist engineer who has predicted a number of scientific achievements and advances which have greatly benefited society today.
