Supporting the Troops for "Preposterous" reasons?

To suggest that its alright for the US Military Troops to continue wreaking havoc and carnage on the Iraqi people because these totally "uninformed" troops think it's their moral and patriotic duty to do so is hypocrisy and a delusional form of insanity!

Many Americans keep repeating this shallow cliche that goes something like this: "We don't support Bush's Iraq War but we do support our troops in Iraq because they went there for the right reasons!"

The deeper meaning of this pseudo-patriotic cliche isn't readily apparent! What it suggests though is that the American troops in Iraq,as a whole, aren't informed enough or aren't smart enough to know that this is a bogus, contrived war they're fighting, thats not based on bringing any democracy to Iraq but was instigated instead by the greedy Bush Cartel to steal $Billions from Iraq's O-I-L!
