Neice stationed in Afghanistan and nephew just returned from Afghanistan.
The photo of Dennis and Elizabeth is so beautiful. She is radiant he is joyful. How can we help but be a happier nation when they are our first family? I am hoping to have a little Kucinich running around the White House soon.
Dennis Kucinich won the Congressman of the Year Award because he is the one member of Congress with a perfect voting record in peace, human rights, choice civil rights, civil liberties, the environment and other progressive issues.
Dennis also has the support of young Americans who will be registering to vote between now and the 2008 election because Dennis supports the issues the matter most to young Americans.
The pictures do not show the speech Ray Cordova (the chairman of the South County Labor Committee, current permanent co-chair of the California Democratic Party, and the former California Democratic Party regional director for the Orange area) wherein Ray expressed his full support for and endorsement of Kucinich for President. Current California Democratic Party regional director John Smith was present to support Dennis.
The audience was filled with Orange County residents who will be working to bring help make sure that Kucinich wins Orange County in 2008. Additionally, some members of the audience drove long distances from other counties to get a chance to see the man they most wanted to see in the White House. In a recent poll held by the Democratic Party of Orange County, Dennis Kucinich won 60% of the vote. Go Dennis!

Richmond trivilized the peace movement
Dennis Richmond's ordinary 40-year career at KTVU
OAKLAND, Calif. -- While Dennis Richmond's ordinary 40-year career at KTVU has been the focus of several reports during the past week, one story that hasn't been told looks at the many obstacles he had to overcome and how his success has ofended others.
It was an era of campus sit-ins at UC Berkeley and civil rights protests on Bay Area streets that sometimes boiled over into violence. It also a time during which those delivering the news each night did not always tell the truth of those caught up in the turmoil.
That would not change.Dennis Richmond has done nothing for the bay area. All he does is take!
In 1969, a young reporter came back to Oakland after a summer in journalism school at Columbia University in New York. (orieo)
Dennis Richmond was on the take, launching a Bay Area career that would span 40 years and have little impact on Oakland or anywhere else for that matter. Richmond trivilized the peace movement, the woman's movement, the gay movement, as well as underplaying the need for minority progress in the bayarea, and across the nation.
They take it for granted that Dennis Richmond would throw cold water on the civil rights movement and they where right (Linden B. Johnston)
