Investigation: A necessary tool of Democracy?

Not any more.

It is now the weapon of choice reserved solely for the republican fascists.

Democrats in Congress are barred from investigation anything.

If they try - it’s a fishing expedition against and decent honest Public Servants working hard to do their duty.

Honest Public servants who are so honest they don’t need to testify under oath.

They don’t need no stinking oath.

When the a Republican President sacks 6 prosecutors for failing to start ‘witch hunt’ investigations into democrats, then they re sacked.

When a Democratic Congress tries to investigate this they are threatened with the ‘bought and paid’ for Supreme Court.

When Clinton tried to pressure on Israel to allow peace in the Middle East he was tied up and distracted by numerous, AIPAC inspired, and never ending investigations (under oath) for years.

When Carter says it is political suicide for any Member of Congress to even mention Israel’s genocidal and aggressive policies in the Middle East, Congress is not allowed to even debate it.

Silence.

Congress can’t even debate or investigate its own political suicide.

A Democratic Congress is not even allowed to investigate why the republicans lied us into the wrong war in the wrong place.

Well that’s the end of democracy.

Congress should pack up and go home.

We have our fat, flouncy dictator in Cheney.
