Pesante-USA Decries and Condemns the Arrogance of “Butcher” Palparan

Los Angeles- The Pesante-USA decries and condemn in the strongest terms the high-handed arrogance of ex-General Jovito Palparan who proclaimed in the most brazen contempt for the report of the Melo Commission and the initial findings of United Nations Special Rapporteur Philip Alston on the extrajudicial killings.

By declaring what he thinks that the report of the Melo Commission and the initial findings of United Nations Special Rapporteur Philip Alston on the extrajudicial killings are flawed because both purportedly partook of the “propaganda” of the “enemy of the state,” Palparam showed his criminal mind, contempt for law and his fascist kind.

Pesante saw it ironic that Palparan assailed the Melo Commission, saying its proof against him were the statements he had made in the media. Pesante USA is deeply outraged that Palparan has the temerity to say that: “ most of his statements were misinterpreted, taken out of context, or intentionally reinvented,”

Pesante said that Palparan was like a fish that was caught with his mouth. When Palparan admitted that what he had really intended was to “scare the people whom the NPA was purportedly using against the military.” He technically admitted to his crimes.

By saying: “ he had to resort to scare tactics on civilians" he had admiited his resonsibility for human rights violations. Palparan also saidin Filipino: “Well, those people really have to be scared because of their wrong actions.

Palparan boasted his tactics that are very clear: " First we will invistigate, if you do not stop we will detain you and the next, we will get you!"

Palparan even bragged that ;" That’s why I said the state has the coercive power—because the bad people, you have to scare them before they do bad things. They’re the ones planning to attack us, to kill us. They’re being used by the NPA... So instead of killing them, just scare them so they don’t support the NPA.” What more explanations do we need?

Pesante-USA lay the blame to the fascist President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo for coddling and letting ex-General Palparan to unleash a reign of terror against the Filipino people.

What is common with Generals Palparan, Esperon, Ebdane and the cheater Garcilliano,besidesthat they are loyal attack dogs of the puppet president.is that they are all arrogant and contemptous of reason and justice.

If Marcos had General Fabian Ver, Metrocom and MISG Chief Col Rolando Abadilla and Major Rodolfo Aguinaldo who were notorious human rights violators who were never punished for their crimes during and after martial law by the successive governments after the downfall of Marcos, Arroyo has Palparan, Esperon and their clique.

But for whom the gods wish to destroy, they made them mad first with power and let them display their arrogance and contempt for justice.

But Pesante -USA, like Marcos who was consigned to the dustbin of hisotry, they will all surely be eventually punished for their crimes against the people.
