This writer has heard things going around the Washington rumor mill that the Senate is trying to keep Mr. Bush from starting another war this time in Iran. Mr. President, Iran won’t be a cake walk to invade because one they are total nut jobs and also all of their army are combat vets, oh did you forget that they fought an eight year war with the country that we are bogged down in now. You know jack frake, Iraq….which we are losing a man every week actually twenty every month. If we invade Iran, it will be a thousand every week, and twenty thousand every month; it will make Vietnam look like an eight year birthday party. If intelligence is correct and confirmed that they have tactical weapons, they will use them; because they are more fanatical then their Iraqi counter parts and they have no fear of death.
I am not sure if you know history or even what grade you got in history, but if you study religion every one have their cults; from Islam to Christendom people whom interpit their religion in their own way. Outside the bounds of normal worship, you remember Mr. Bush that I have told you so many times that America should never pick fights, but finish them. You seem to like to repeat History and its mistakes, why because you are a fool; you should ask you’re father to tell you of the horror of war; for he has seen it, five year of bloody conflict in World War II in the Pacific theater of operations.
They say you were a pilot in the Air Guard, a pilot like you’re father; question then did you ever pull the trigger on a man in another plane. Did you ever see a man not get of his aircraft after being flamed in a dog fight? Have you ever seen the inside of an APC, a tank, or even a truck when it is hit by a sabo round? It makes dying in the twin towers pale in comparison being that the crews of these platforms die in a living hell slowly. In New York and Washington those who lost their lives died quickly on the aircraft. Those who died in the towers were not so lucky they died in a living hell like those whom will die in Iran if you start a war with them.
I call on the Senate and the Congress to deny the President any such option. I would also advise the DNC candidate for the White House, not to under estimate the Republican Party; Mr. Kerry did in CY2004 and he lost the election. Mr. Gore in CY2000 under estimated his opponent in that election. I would like to show you something by the numbers when it comes to the enemy wining the war by the numbers……
1. underestimating the enemy capabilities 2. no precise intelligence 3. enemy experience 4. not knowing the ground 5. arrogance
Lt.General Herald Moore Ret. knew this in September of CY1965; he knew they had a chance in hell of winning such a war in Vietnam. When he arrived in Vietnam’s Central highlands with his battalion 1st of the 7th cavalry of the air mobile division, in a little know place called the Ardrang Valley, which his men called the Valley of Death; with three hundred and ninety-five men. The General went up against a whole Division of the army of North Vietnam numbering four thousand men, the odds were ten men to every one of his. The only reason he survived is air support, out of four thousand the enemy lost 1,800 dead not counting those wounded or captured. The thing I want to say is that we turned the valley of death into an inferno and they still came at General Moore and his men, because they believed in what they were fighting for, they were not cavemen in black pajama’s; they believed they were patriots. In Vietnam we won every unit to unit battle, after tet (Vietnams New Year) we had annilated the Viet Cong as a fighting force.
What I am trying to say is that we still lost, because of trying to save a corrupt government in Saigon; it is hard to get a people to defend them selves. When their government could care less about its people, the ROV had no civil liberties at all and all those whom openly opposed them were crushed by the Arvan Army. So imagine what it would be like in Iran, urban combat, gorilla war, that after taken out their regular army. Least we forget that they will have no qualms about using tactical weapons on our ground troops and even on the United States. As far as we know they do not have tactical long range weapons but as in Afghanistan and Iraq. The former republics would sell them these LRWS in a heart beat and if they are able to develop tactical nuclear war heads. Then it will not be thousands dying on a battle field, it will be millions dying in our cities, towns and villages; there will be nothing left of our homeland. To any leader from the United States to Central and Southeast Asia you can not order people to disarm or bully them. I call on the Senate and the Congress not to allow the spread of war to Iran, because we will lose the best and the brightest of our people on the battle field and at home, because if they have tactical weapons then they will use them Mr. President and that will turn the Genocide in World War II into a tea party for children, because it will not be six million murdered; it will be six hundred billion murdered. You can say we have high tech and they are still using the former Soviets hand me downs. Mr. Bush they have been killing each other in clan wars for generation--- were we have 38.2 year experience in combat they have thousand of year experience in combat from repulsing the Crusades to now. "Those who fail to learn history are doomed to repeat it; those who fail to learn history correctly -- why, they are simply doomed."
ACHEM DRO'HM it seems President Bush you have not learned anything from history but you’re ability to repeat it, and your use of it to cover up you’re domestic failures of leadership; my feeling his you think you can kick start the economy by starting a 3rd World War. Believe this it will not work because they will fight to the death. Plato said very well and I quote…..
